The Michigan Diabetes Prevention and Control Program with the Michigan Department of Community Health offers free approved professional education for contact hours of continuing education credit.
The modules available are geared towards professional health care workers and are approved by the Michigan Nurses Association (MNA), the Ohio Nurses Association (ONA) and the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) for 2 contact hours.
Upon successful completion of the module a certificate can be printed for immediate confirmation of participation. Successful completion includes reading the module content, passing the 10 question post test with a score of 70% or better, and completing the registration and evaluation forms.
